Analysis/Discussion: Damnit Kanye! You had an impeccable “media record” up until this point. It’s never a good sign to see positive individuals getting locked up, especially in cases like this. The incident was definitely provoked, BUT could have been avoided by “ignoring all hell” out of the paparazzi!
Being a world-famous entertainer is a ‘double-edged sword’ so to speak. You gain the admiration of millions, and have the opportunity to actually EARN millions of dollars (IF you happen to have your business in order PRIOR to signing any major contracts, otherwise you get all the Fame and ZERO dollars in the grand scheme of things)…on the other side, you have the Paparazzi, the gold-diggers, the Haters, the drama, and a 100% loss of privacy.
The thing is, if this is the life you choose, you MUST be prepared for it. Because as we see here in this case, the LAW could care less if you’re being harassed and your privacy is being invaded. If you wyl out, get pissed, and do something about it…. you’re in the slammer with charges. It’s speculated that one of the cameras broken is worth over $10,000. And THAT would make this a major case of vandalism, possibly even a Felony if LA County prosecutors want to be pricks about the situation.
Hopefully Kanye & his bodyguard can simply have a settlement with the Paparazzi, and Kanye can learn a very sad lesson… Life Isn’t Fair, and you will go to jail if you attempt to “get even”.
