Turbulence, the “Love” Kind

Analysis/Discussion:
The fact that relationships will go through their ups & downs should be common knowledge at this point in human evolution. But as always, I get a friend who hits me up for advice, and most commonly it’s some complaint that things are going “smoothly” anymore. My response is often “Have you WORKED at communicating yet?”, and sadly more often than not, the answer is a mumbled “no.”
Turbulence is just as much a part of relationships as love, fun, eating dinner, and sex. Sad, but very true. Couples will have their own separate issues causing stress, as well as issues Between both partners that simply add to it. The key is having enough sense to “fight till the last bell”, or push through the frustration. This applies only to a Long Term relationship though, if you’re only 2-3 weeks in, and you’re ready to key a car, flatten a tire, or sabotage a night out… I suggest you move on, lol.
But for the Long Term relationships, you’ve gotta look BACK to what brought the romance together in the first place. Each partner should have a welcoming attribute (or two, or three) to make their partner feel like it’s all worth it.
