In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith. That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true.

It certainly is a great thing not to be pressured into believing any specific religious views.  What I mean by pressure, is the premise that “if you do not believe, then you do not have faith, and if you do not have faith…you’re damned to an eternity of painful hell and torment”, lol.

Human beings were granted the ability to think on the highest known level of all living beings on the planet Earth.  This shouldn’t be just taken for granted, and when it comes to our spirituality, this is especially important.  There must be some form of rationale that comes into play, because no matter what your personal beliefs are, human beings were created/evolved in a way that we have the ability to THINK and REASON.  So let’s use it!!!

“Scientology is the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life. The Scientology religion comprises a body of knowledge extending from certain fundamental truths. Prime among these:

Man is an immortal, spiritual being. His experience extends well beyond a single lifetime. His capabilities are unlimited, even if not presently realized — and those capabilities can be realized. He is able to not only solve his own problems, accomplish his goals and gain lasting happiness, but also achieve new, higher states of awareness and ability.”

Okay, I would definitely agree that our capabilities are unlimited.  There was a time in human history when the thought of traveling at speeds of 50mph would likely have you jailed for being INSANE.  Today, it’s commonplace.  The capacity for human beings to achieve is greater than any of us can currently perceive.

So Scientology hits a home run on this one here.
